I'm sailing on the Equinox in 3 weeks and from this video I'm sure I won't be dissapointed....looks like the typical, high class, comfortable Celebrity ship. They really do it right!!!! This is my 16th cruise with Celebrity....wonderful cruise line.

First went on Equinox 2016 so I’m amazed to see they still have the glass blowing feature ! We sail in July on the Italian Riviera cruise. Will certainly take in the glass blowing.

Great video, thanks! So the Persian Garden doesn't have any kind of water features like jacuzzis or hydrotherapy pool? Or I may have missed it? We have only been on Edge class ships with Celebrity. How does Solstice class compare, would one be "underwhelmed?"

No - unless you count the rainfall showers. There’s not jacuzzi or hot tubs in that part of the ship.

You have to pay for the coffees but it is covered on all drink plans. Hope this helps!

Informative video! Question about the casino. If you are playing the slots and do not have a drink package, do they charge for a beverage?

We can't speak for the slots - but we have seen players at the tables get comped drinks! Perhaps one of our other viewers can chime in on the slots???

Thanks. AFAIC, Celebrity ships end here. The Edge class are something else that is not the same spirit or elegance of this class of ship and previous. Usually I'm not an older is better type and embrace change and find something good in newer ships but the Edge ships I don't like one bit. So, I hope these ships stay well maintained and the level of service and food remains high so that people that don't want anything to do with the Edge ships have these to go to. Maybe after the Edge they'll bring back some of the character of these lovely Solstice ships but I'm not holding my breath. Favorite part of the Equinox (Solstice class ships). The Martini Bar. It's chic, elegant, evocative, intimate. Great space. Ruined on the Edge ships IMO.

What are peoples view on the cabana’s? I can’t see the point of paying to restrict yourself to that one small area. I know you can go off and do something else, but then you’re not getting value for money. So can anyone here that has used them comment?

We tried a couple of different cabanas on Equinox and Reflection. For us we did it on port days (in ports we have been to many times) when the cost was less. Given the very attentive service, amenities and private space we thought it was great value. But we’d also be interested to hear other’s experiences!
