If you only have 2 to 3 seconds you have to perfectly catch the essence of body language, facial expression, and not only the accent, but also enounciation, speed, and pauses the person usually makes. All at once.

The problem with some impressions is that certain actors/comedians can at times over emphasize certain traits, making their tone really ridiculous to try to get laughs. These impressions tend to be over the top and eventually the silliness wears off to the point that they aren't funny. Ross' impressions in this video, on the other hand, were so quick and their tone just subtle enough that they come off believable, and identify character traits in smaller, and (in my opinion) more interesting ways. I kind of get an "oh, yeah! yeah! that's it" laugh out of all of these. Really brilliant

VERY well put! He’s absolutely amazing. I honestly haven’t seen an impressionist this good since Rich Little. (For most of you, go look him up...lol. He was old when I was a kid, but famous as an impressionist) I think he might even be BETTER than Rich! I got to meet Ross at a convention & he was so sweet, polite, & extremely modest. Lovely person! VERY talented!
