This is the best video tour I have seen on the Celebrity Reflection. my partner and I are going on our first ever cruise in Jan 23 on the Reflection and videos like this are so helpful. go glad I found your channel Danny!

Ship is being used for short cruises. If people go on this ship with reasonable expectations about wear and such, it'll be a fine ship. They did lose Quasars in this ship over the other Solstice ship but that space was underutilized. A smaller Sky Lounge is better than no Sky Lounge. REflection kept Cellar Masters as opposed to changing it to Craft Social. It works better as a wine bar somewhat than a sports bar. Great tour.

Beautiful Ship! My wife and I are going on our first Celebrity cruise aboard Equinox in October for our 30th wedding anniversary. We wanted to go on Reflection but unfortunately there was no cruises around our anniversary with Celebrity except with Equinox but they are similar ships.

Wow - excellent video. I do love the new lawn club on Silhouette, which cuts down the grass on either side and allows the sunset bar to be wrapped all the way around the aft - so much better than the excess grass in my opinion!

Hey Danny and Taylor. I haven’t been on Celebrity since 1992. The Horizon. Maybe it’s scrapped, sold or refurbished under another name? Was amazing then so now they are phenomenal. A very comprehensive tour of the ship. We've been on Apex, but none of the older ships. There are things you've shown us that will have us appreciating the more 'older style' of cruising. We have an aft Sky Suite corner. Between this video and your tour of that cabin, I feel ready to cruise! Not until January, but this really whet our appetite. thank you

There's so much missing in the Apex this ship has. I really think that Celebrity screwed some things up with the Edge class but those ships are so contemporary, maybe people don't notice it. I need the quiet spaces and more intimate feel this ship has. Plus it is richer in colors and more distinctive in decor than the Apex IMO, if not as "contemporary" (which I'm finding kind of dull).

@@benjaminsmith2287 I've now been on Edge, Apex, and Silhouette. All in The Retreat. I found quite a few quiet places, which I also enjoy, on the Edge Class. While I enjoyed Silhouette, all my future cruising will be on Edge class. Different ships for different tastes.

@@brunkerj The Edge was made for retreat passengers. I think for non-retreat pax there are issues with accessibility of prime real estate on the ship. They can do a good retreat area without taking away a valuable space like the Sky Lounge.

You’ve mentioned several times about your wife sewing onboard. I’m curious what kind of sewing. I’ve done quilting and embroidery cruises, but I’d love to go a more general type sewing cruise where I could bring my own projects, rent or bring a machine and there was a space available for the group to work. I haven’t found one like that so far.

the Solarium-is it part of the spa or included with any cabin? does the thermal suite in the spa not have a hydrotherapy pool or any jacuzzis? I've viewed multiple videos on here (including yours) and don't see any mention of jacuzzis of any type in the thermal portion of the spa. Wondering if buying a thermal suite pkg is worth it?

The Retreat Sundeck is only for Retreat guests. But on the Solstice Class ships there is a ton of places to spread out, so you will be able to find a nice spot. Thanks for watching - Taylor

Celebrity is geared towards adults. There are not many things on board planned for the under 21 crowd.

@@patrickbeach3070 Teens can enjoy Celebrity if there are other teens onboard or music they like and a lot of the cruise time is spent at ports. You don't need all the features that are on other ships for teens to have a good time. It all depends on the teen's personalities as well.

Great video as always! Sad they haven’t revolutionized her or resumed the fleet overhaul. I won’t sail on a non revolution ship - I prefer the modernity the overhaul brings not just the typical cruise ship dated look. Obviously to each their own. Edge series is hands down the best in fleet for me and my partner though.
