Thank you for your video. I do like your thoughtful way of evaluating cruise options. We were looking at a Celebrity Mediterranean cruise and it always stacked up to be more expensive than other similar cruise lines for a comparable cruise. We factor in all costs when making decisions (taxes, fees, gratuities), including the 'all in' packages, since I can't see sailing without wifi, a beverage package, etc. What costs do you factor in when putting together your cost comparisons?

We do the same when it comes to cost. However, my wife doesn't drink (maybe one or two total per cruise), and I can't possibly drink enough to make it a good value for us (but that's just us). We tested this on our last cruise - she said, "Order as many drinks as you want - and I'll bet we don't even come close to the total of the package." She was right - which is almost always the case. We don't buy the wifi either - just wait to use our phones in port (we have international data and service). We also factor in costs of flights. This really hit home for us when we were celebrating our 20th. We were set on going on an Alaska Land tour + Cruise on Holland America. It turned out that the flights to Rome AND a 25-day Med cruise on a balcony cost less... go figure! So that's what we did. :-D

Hmmm, not sure I am liking the continuous music playing. Really found it distracting from this very excellent, information filled video. Maybe turn it down to the point where old people with adhd can’t even hear it?

Ok, I just now noticed the music on your other videos. Hmmmmmmm. Maybe this one is just louder.

Probably the case. Thanks for the input!

How did you feel about the NCL sky? I found an amazing,7 day itinerary that leaves from Dominican and also hits the A B C. Is it too good to be true?

It's not too good to be true! The nice thing about starting down that far south is you're basically already there, and you won't have a ton of time on the ship at sea trying to get south. NCL isn't Celebrity, Holland or Princess (or even Royal Caribbean for that matter), but they're a step up from MSC and Carnival. Plus, that's not a major embarkation port, so you'll likely have less kids and a slightly more mature crowd.
