Fantastic tour and interesting short chats along the way. This ship is transformed by the "revolutionizing" It has a lot of recently refurbished and in some ways redesigned ares. Previous to this was Solstitizing it that brought in all the specialty restaurants and Martini Bar. As a ship, I sailed the Constellation, which has a near identical layout. I have a problem with the "revolutionizing" thing in 1) they tend to use the same muted colors over and over and 2) some of what they've done doesn't fit the character of this ship. The Solticization of it just brought in new specialty restaurants and a change in the Martini Bar and that was a good thing. But this tour was done in the day and not at night. Ships are different at night where the lighting and fixtures create a mood in the interior and some of the exterior spaces. The Rendezvous, for instance, is a music lounge. So, the music brings in an atmosphere and you can have dancing from fun to romantic in it. The lower lights of the club add to the romantic. Originally, this room had dark colors with vibrant punches of color. This muted beige/blue/teal palette is used extensively in the Rendezvous and Dining Room and both suffer from it in terms of richness and such and tell to feel neutral and cool, rather than warm. So, I don't really like that they've changed the style of them. Dark works better for a lounge like this. What's better is the original champagne and martini bars were too big and there was no different music than the Rendez Vous lounge, right below it. So, now the wine bar has its own music right near Sushi on 5. The Martini Bar is more alive and stylish now and moved to another location. The upper area of the dining room is anytime dining. And the ship looks fresh and clean. So, one should not worry about the age of this ship as some of the refurbished areas are newer than what's on the Edge that came out in 2018. What I really think is unfortunate is there were no areas for retreat passengers only that I remember. Michael's Club was accessible to all and a English gentleman's cigar club and then a piano bar. I don't love that it's not available to non-suite passengers. As someone who will never consider a suite I think it's OK maybe to charge admission to specialty restaurants or even exclusive restaurants but freezing some passengers out of major areas of the ship is unfortunate IMO. Many regular passengers really enjoyed this club when it was a piano bar. You can do it somewhere else, but it doesn't have the same private "feel." Again, great tour.

The pool in the Solarium is a Thalassotherapy pool, it use saltwater instead of chlorinated water. Great video

Thinking about booking a cruise on this ship for my family in Feb. Miami, bananas, Cozumel. Any other cruise recommendations for just 5 days? Higher end, top quality. I have some snobs in the family lol

If you're considering booking with Celebrity, you might want to explore their Edge class ships. These ships offer more luxurious accommodations and a wider range of amenities, including a variety of restaurants. They are generally newer, but keep in mind that prices tend to be higher, and standard balconies are typically only available with suite bookings. Otherwise you will be in the infinite veranda. I have a good room tour of that room if you are unfamiliar with it. The Summit is a nice ship, but it might not offer the same level of luxury and amenities as the Edge class ships. If you have food enthusiasts in your family, you could also consider purchasing a dining package. The Tuscan Grille, for example, is a fantastic restaurant on Celebrity's ships. @@tomsunday thanks so much. I will look Into Edge class ships. We are foodies (French people hahah) so they are picky. My family isn’t so much. Would need to leave from Miami, 5 days. Want a nice ship, not so many kids. With Fun things to do.

@HotSauceStain then you will love Edge class. Look into Edge, Apex, Beyond or the Ascent. They have absolutely fantastic restaurants on board. I am a huge foodie. Eden and Le Voyage are worth thr trip alone! I made separate videos on each of those. Usually Celebrity doesn't attract many families with kids. Especially during school seasons. I'll take a look at the website once I get home today and give you my recommendations. I'm excited to hear your feedback once you return. I have tons of videos on the channel breaking down all of these ships. When you have some time, check them out. It will give you a good feel for what it's like onboard.

Missed one thing...What kind of any carving meat did they have in the Buffet... Wondering if they downgraded? When Inwas on the Summit they had Steam Ship round (roast beef) and Turkey....along with minute steaks. I will be on the Reflection in 56 days...

Good eye, Mark! They were still preparing and it wasn't out yet. On my second round, I did notice it was roast pork. For dinner they had roast beef and turkey as well. All in all, pretty good selection. I'm looking forward to hearing about your experience on the Reflection. My favorite Food and Bevarage Director will be on the Reflection during your cruise. If you see Martin Gazovic, please tell him I said hello. He is the best. I love that guy.

Agreed its not as important on your trip. You can send your summary via comment, email or any other way you like. Whatever is easiest for you. On a side note, I am planning on creating a discord for this channel. A place we can all share our thoughts, opinions, photos, videos and so on. If you are not familiar with Discord, its a free app that can be used on computer or cellphone. Basically a private community for everyone who wants to chat with me and each other. I may even host live streams there in the future. I can let you know once its ready. That will be the easiest place for you to post anything you would like, right from your cell phone.
