i wouldve been fine with it had the joke been funnier. they shouldntve used clay aiken. when i think clay aiken, "gay" doesnt even come to mind. itdve been better had they picked a more ridiculous celebrity, like richard simmons, or someone more associated with gayness, like elton john could u imagine doing that joke with neil patrick harris? it would just not work, he's too attractive and ... un-swishy. for ur gay jokes, u have to pick the right gay celebrity
