Columbus Short played the heck out of that role. He was my favorite character in the movie. He deserves some type of award for his portrayal of Little Walter. The death scene was heartbreaking. I love the movie, but, I dread that part.

Hollywood didn't tell the truth about his death in Cadillac Records. He didn't die that way. He died in the apartment of his lady friend of a health problem. They should of told the truth. His family should of sued.

Did I hear the same life story as everyone else? No mother, father went to jail, uncle went to jail, family members mistreated him and then molested at twelve by an older women. This is My cousin! His mother, my cousin did not give him up his dad kidnapped him! His dad brought him back just before going to jail. My great grandmother stated teaching him education and she passed away around 43 so it was a few years before the ww2 he was home

I never knew much of anything about Little Walter outside of the movie "Cadillac Records" and Columbus Short played the hell out of the Little Walter character. It seems when it rained it poured for Walter. He lived his life like no other but one thing nobody could ever take from him and that was his harmonica and style.
