@Richard-r8e7g I see your point but I enjoy all kinds of music. Rock pop r and b hip hop rap. Should a black person not like rock and say if their musician not want to perform rock or a white person not sing r and b jazz? I mean that's kind of limiting don't you think. I don't see why you can't enjoy art of all types.

It's another form of conquering when things like this keep happening because they will say they the ones who created it the next 80 years down the line. A lot of these white artists do feel the need to fit in to copy or collaborate with black artists for the sake of their entertainment careers. I just find it's too much stuff you have to do to stay relevant and fit in either your a black or white artists to me. It's like you always have to over due yourself a lot. I wouldn't rap or sing a note period doesn't interest me in doing that but it's a heavy price to pay back to the entertainment and Hollywood industry.

Cultural Appropriation is the craziest thing I have ever heard. When someone adopts another culture, it is a flattering suggestion. For those who don't want anyone of a different culture to adopt their culture, then they shouldn't try to adopt someone else's culture. For example, if you are not Mexican, don't eat Mexican food. If you are not European, don't buy or wear European clothes. This whole thing is just stupid. I had a Black person say to me that some of these whites are trying to sound Black when they sing. I asked him, can you sing and sound just as good? Of course, they couldn't. People should just stop and celebrate each other, and learn from each other.

With Elvis in a way he did appreciate black music , it was his manager that was stealing black artist songs and Elvis was aware of it and sang those songs that his manager took , but through all that Little Richard said in a interview that Elvis opened up the door for black music to be popular which ended up having a lot of wp listening to bp music , basically making it more mainstream that it ended up making a lot of black artist become more popular , even Sammy Davis Junior said the same thing about Elvis Not that I condone on what was done , I really can't blame the ones that took some artist music , cause it really says a lot more about society as a whole that listen to music , like why they won't listen to music that comes from a different race , but if someone from their own race sings/raps someone's else's song thats from a diff race now all of a sudden they'll listen to it

Yeah...just accept rippin off a culture that's not your own, profit from it while those who created it don't benefit from it at the same rate. Just turn a blind eye and accept it, right? That is the *illustration* of segregation. Try that w/the H asi dic or native group and see you far you get. You just might earn some respect one day if you actually studied history.

Cultural appropriation is in every single race, but at the same time, it needs to be respected by boundaries instead of used as a weapon and Weaponized hatred towards other races. You have somebody telling me that I cannot rap because of my skin color that would be racist, it would be like me saying you can’t speak English if you’re not British or fly an airplane because you’re not white instead of being a melting pot of unity and respect for each other we’re just bashing on each other. It’s counterproductive and stupid most of all racist.
