I didn't know she had passed until watching this video and so glad I did too. I remember seeing her on Madtv ( I LOVED that show by the way ) and enjoyed her comedy sketches. So sad she died so young, but,at least she made her dreams come true and have so much success before she passed. RIP: Erica Ash

It’s shame that Kobe didn’t have a better relationship with his father in the end..After, all he was the one responsible for all that Kobe was..Sad. He let his wife get in between his parents..

@@calm1047 don't get upset about the comment that was made from deeper beauty it was true facts stated.Vanessa played the role to make sure his family did not see a dime of Cobys money. Coby was not into black women and all his money went to the not so black community. Cobys choice. He took better care of Vanessa family than his own. Very sad but true. I am just speaking facts. No need to respond to me we both have our own opinions and I know to many people that would agree with me. I don't argue with people on social media who get upset about my opinions and facts so leave your comments to your self. Happy holidays.

I’m glad to see Joe Bryant get the accolades de deserved. What a damn shame and disrespectful at that “clown show” funeral. Shaq was the only one that publicly acknowledged the disrespect of Kobe’s parents. Although I believe the recognition should’ve been at the funeral but ppl decided to go along to get along.

This is very good to know because not much was said on the news for MOST of these beautiful people of color. However, I can't say that most were tragic because most of them lived a pretty generous life with the exception of Erica, her death was a SHOCK to me because she was so young, beautiful and gifted. Now, with Kobe's dad I would say it is tragic because I think he passed from a broken heart not only because his son passed before him tragically but also what transpired before Kobe died (with his treatment towards his parents because of that wife that they told him NOT to marry) but also because his only son died so tragically, and things may not have been settled in his soul about what happened.
