For me, as an outsider (not a Filipino), Celeste is one of the strongest MUPs post 2010. I UP UNTIL NOW not sure how or why she didn’t place- if anyone would be unplaced, among the past winners of MUP, I would never have thought that it would be CELESTE. Very sad that she is not appreciated as the others (in my view). She needs and deserve to be appreciated as well

for a pageant-crazy country, i do think so many people here in the Philippines should learn to appreciate their candidates beyond their standing in the international scene or competition..whether they place or not, should not be a case to elicit what they still deserve which is respect. It was crazy how some people totally undermined and disregarded her after the competition. I just hope this mentality should stop.

I feel sooo sorry for her kasi ramdam na ramdam ko sa kanya na malungkot siya at parang walang kakampi. It’s like being alone in a room packed with people. I felt her sadness during her final walk. It is very evident sa mga mata niya. She never had any participation from the finals. It’s like they just gave her a moment to do her final walk because it has been a tradition. She wasn’t given any spotlight unlike last edition, Bea Luigi Gomez was really on spotlight all night.

Very that. Not even a quick interview in the beginning of the show to briefly express or recap of how her reign has been like besides the Miss Universe competition. Things like volunteering, doing guest of honor speeches, lending a hand for a great cause, etc. MUPH really did her wrong as an outgoing queen. Shame.

You can see the sadness in her eyes. You can tell she did not want to be there. She looked uncomfortable and unfocused, that she tripped at the start, and her sash kept falling. When she thanked her "dear team", I don't think she was talking about the MUP org. Or maybe she was forced to thank them. Her bittersweet experience was more bitter than it was sweet, and I feel for her.

Assumera ka din noh?? Pinagbinintangan monpa mga judges. Celesti has a beautiful face and body it takes more than that to win the MU crown. Ang daming bad feedback about her during the entire MU competition na hindi sya nakikipag interact with other candidates, sobrang tahimik nya, masyadong malamya (walang energy) at parang napipilitan lang. Kung ganyan ba naman performance mo all throughout the competition "PANO KA MANANALO"? Sonrang obvious naman apaka LAMYA ni Celeste at walang kabuhay buhay. I feel sorry nga ibang MU PH na candidate that time kasi sobrang nagpakahirap sila to win MU PH crown pero kay Celeste ibinigay, tapos mababalitaan mo nalang sa actual Miss Universe competition na parang WALA LANG SA KANYA, gusto daw nya eenjoy lng ang experience. Why did MUPh treat Celeste this way? Her failure to make it to the first cut of MU2022 was not her fault. This was hard to watch. Not only because I know how sad Celeste is feeling after her year as Miss Universe Philippines, but also because everything that could go wrong happened in the span of 3 minutes. Celeste was ruined by the Miss Universe Philippines organization. She would’ve excelled way more if she had her original team guide her. This is what I don’t like about MUPH, they’re too controlling. Unlike Binibini who allowed for Pia and Catriona to have their own team train them!!

Even though I would like to give the stand-alone MUPH a chance, I think they made a mistake on leaving Binibining Pilipinas. Madame Stella Marquez de Araneta has been through it all when Binibining Pilipinas had the Philippines' Miss Universe membership. Maybe Shamcey Supsup-Lee should get some advice from Madame Stella.

If you know how to read body ques and how to read eyes, you'll know that it is not the organization but she herself did the wrong decisions during her reign. My heart broke when Celeste didn’t place at all , not because I wanted her to win regardless, but because as I watched her , I felt and knew what she was fighting for. She fought so hard to get the crown for her mom, herself and her country who supported her every step of the way. I too was raised by a single mother and all I wanted was to retire my mom and see her enjoy life the way she was meant to . I saw the same in Celeste.
