I briefly considered looking at the flip through, but curiosity won out 😂 What can I say, there are so many wonderful pages and ephemera to marvel at again. I don't even know how to list everything that touches me 🧡 the lovingly designed belly bands strips, the birds, the butterflies, the delicate colors of the scrapbook paper... The specimen cards made me smile: I LOVE roses, I LOVE bougainvillea because I've been to Gran Canaria 100 times, where this plant can be found everywhere, and finally the hazelnut that my parents had on our property when I was a child 😊It rembembers me all at good old times 😉🥰Thank you for that! Even though I've already watched your video, I know that when I get to hold it in my hands for real, I'll be even more blown away 😮🙊You are such a wonderful creative soul! 😘

They all turned out gorgeous D, I saved all three of these videos in your file on my KZbin, lol. I love all the ideas on decorating, that's where I struggle most, have a bunch of journals ready to decorate, so no more making any until I finish at least one of the two tubs I have filled with them, mhm, you find a lot of stuff when reorganizing the craft room. 🥴 I made dyes from Tulip, Oak and Maple trees, after watching your video on trying them out last fall. They all came out different shades of light brown, like dying with tea. I also tried a mixture of leaves that I found in my yard, from neighbors trees I guess, lol, as didn't recognize any of them. That didn't dye every well, really little color on the papers. Also didn't get to test colors by adding mordants, but maybe this fall. I'm all caught up on your videos now, so more organizing in the craft room I guess, it's never-ending, lol. Have a wonderful day, enjoyed the flip throughs 💜💜💜

I am so glad you enjoyed the flip throughs and found inspiration in these journals. That makes me happy. I have another 5 journals that I started and never finished. 5 tubs of stuff that I keep moving around my room 😆. I guess I’m waiting for the right moment for the inspiration to strike 😆 As long as it’s fun, right? There should be no pressure to do this 😊

why, as though you worship these journals, do you stroke and rub them. I enjoy this so art so much but all of you, it seems every channel , treat them with ill placed reverence. It's paper and glue and fun ONLY

I guess it’s because we put a lot of our energy and thoughts into creating them. Journals are tactile pieces of art, and have lots of texture as well as visual elements. They are meant to be touched, used and admired. One would argue that humans are also just flash and bones, and yet, we are so much more 😊. Thanks for watching ❤️
