4:08 suddenly, the whole map's chaotic nature makes a lot more sense

@@ZheoCeleste That polyrhythm nonsense from the heart side looks like absolute hell but it might look less like absolute hell if it were flushed out with a campaign

What do the symbols that sometimes appear under Madeline mean?
@ZheoCeleste Жыл бұрын
It means that you have some forbidding behviors. Red right arrows means that you can't dash. Blue triangle means that you can dash, but you will not regain it when touching ground. Yellow square means that you can't regain stamina when touching ground. Purple inverted "A" is the sum of arrow and triangle (you can't neither dash nor regain it) Orange diamond is the sum of the arrow and the square (you can't neither dash, neither regain stamina) The green circle is the sum of the triangle and the square (you can't regain both dash and stamina) The white X is the sum of the 3 forbidden stuffs (impossible to dash, regain dash and regain stamina)

@@ZheoCeleste Wow that sounds horrific! But not necessarily in a bad way. I'm surprised they chose this map to be the Flag 1 in gmhs.

@@socksygen In a way it's not that surprising, there are several desirable qualities in it. Here's a few I could come up with: - Celeste B-sides already originally ended with casette block rooms - A large number of colors on casette blocks is already incredibly intimidating, and the polyrhythm only makes it worse - The theme is black and barren, good for a sense of a final boss (making it noisy would probably have a weaker effect because the whole GMHS is already eventful) - Allows the team to make music specifically for it, and gameplay being synced with it makes it hit harder as well - The ending with a grid of casette blocks is so absurd it looks inhuman at first glance even to those who could feasibly learn and play it

@@abcdef-ms9mbyeah i don’t think pumber or nelumbo have nearly as much effect as finally reaching the final flag, only to be slapped in the face with a 5:3 polyrhythm cassette block abomination
