I want to advocate for Phreasto being on equal footing with Reinier. I ignored Reinier and fully invested in Phreasto as free to play, and I have zero regrets. Getting top 10 Dream Realm on 3/6 bosses, top 50 on the other 3. I'm at top 10 standard arena, and yes that's also thanks to Lily May... but no one attacks me with Phreasto tanking on map 5, I think part of that is Phreasto's clone counts toward the power level. My team shows up as an 860K defense even though I have no paragon levels. Finally with the new season, Phreasto is a beast for AFK Stage pushing. I mean, AFK AFK. Now that we have the auto battle feature, a Phreasto team can comfortably clear AFK stages while completing the story at the same time. A Reinier team is going be slowed down having to complete AFK stages manually to ensure the priority target is swapped. And since players cannot purchase Seasonal Essence in the new season, getting a smooth, early start is going to be all the more important. So for me, Phreasto is a worthy alternative to Reinier as a first cele/hypo for free to play.

That's nice, man I struggle on arena defence even though I have great offence Currently, top30 on Asia Server Is it too late to switch to phraesto? Im planning to build scarlita to M+ had her legend+ now As I said, I struggle big time with arena defence My luck on epic summon sucks also my only decent tank is thoran legend+ I do have koko S and mikola S+ For offense, I rely heavily on Lily may , eiron, smoky, and florabelle S+ I have a good PvE and Dream Realm team So im planning to switch to arena build units

Funny story from someone who just started in Aug. I went against this one team that has 5 Celestial/Hypogean but all still at Epic. I ran my most invested team which has Lily May(S+) and some other characters at S and I got completely annihilated 😂 had to adjust a lot to beat him and man that hurts😂

Great video as always! And perfect timing as I’m trying to decide what to invest all my guild coins into 🤔. With new Cele being PvP focused, I’ll most likely go with PestoBoy 😂 the thing for me with pvp cele/hypo is that pvp just doesn’t give regular tidal essence income whereas DR does.

I think people are sleeping on Reinier's potential for PvP. He’s seen as squishy since most people leave him at M+, so he’s at a disadvantage against S+ heroes. However, he’s able to 1v1 or even 2v1 some heroes when he's at S+, just because of the stats and his crowd control. I don’t think he’s a worthless investment beyond M+ like most people say he is.

Kinda same, scarlita at supreme and +5 weapon, need 4 copys of her to s+ and Talene looks the best next hypo/celestial to build, more versatility in more game modes than pharesto

@@andres201292 it depends on your server and rankings on Dr. I can consistently hit top 20 without pesto and if I had him built I wouldn't be hitting top 5 for temporal essence breakpoint so Talene would be better investment for me

@@iliapavlenko6299 I had not thought about it, in my case luckily the server where I'm is scarce of whales and I manage to be quite consistently in the top 10 in DR and Arenas being a half Delfin, I only buy the noble passes because it is the most economical and what I can afford, but if I'm not careful many of these whales will begin to populate the top 10 and I will lose my positions. Still I think I would go for Talene and not Pharesto because Pharesto is only good at DR and AFK Pushing mainly, and Taelene is a bit more universal, she can help you in DR, AFK Pushing and PVP.

Just got my Phraesto to Supreme and probably will push him to Supreme+. Hope he is at least decent in Dream Realm in Waves of Intrigue. Then i might go for Scarlita or Talene, still not sure - although i love PvP, so Scarlita might be a priority.

Having used Scarlita at Paragon 2 for quite a while I can confidently say she will always be extremely strong in PvP. That is due to the fact that she deals true damage - if you think about it, it is absolutely insane and will scale super well later on as well & possibly become even better with new supports (horizontal investment) - also Talene, also have her at Paragon 2 & all I can say is: She is the BEST character in the game. period.

@@KillaBryx "Loses" is a misleading word. Scarlita CAN win very quickly if your setup with Talene is not proper. On the flip side my Talene can melt a Scarlita literally in 5 seconds if she catches her (Scarlita) in her (Talene) flamethrower. IF Scarlita lands her massive swing on Talene AND that there are three or more alive members on her side, kills Talene AND sends her off the arena...that is the only time she wins. A lot of times Talene dies and does not get thrown off the arena and simply revives back. On top of that Talene's flamethrower can melt Scarlita in seconds if Talene gets to channel it freely. I kill these high sustain Scarlita compositions with Hewynn and Damian all the time, the key is to have a really offensive team with Talene. I use Dionel, you can also use Lily May who works wonders vs Scarlita. NOTE: It is VERY important to have surplus healing for Talene - she consumes her own HP once her energy is down while channeling and also needs to stay alive in general so multiple healers in her squad (Hewynn + Damian or Hewynn + Ludovic) are paramount. I use Dionel + Talene with Enlightening spell and they demolish half the enemy team before Scarlita even lands on the arena and when she does...she gets obliterated to oblivion.

After i got my reinier to m+ i'm not sure which hypogean/celestial should i go for, i'm currently rank 30ish in arena and i can get to rank 20-50 in dream realm consistently. Who do you think has more value between scarlita/phraesto/talene? My thought was to get scarlita first to M+ and then phraesto to at least L+ and then after that i save my pulls for future hypogean/celestial or get my phraesto to M+

She's a carry so s+ is the most optimal, her ex15 skill makes her future proof and stats on her wont hurt. But ex25 is better on Lily May if u dont have her yet at this lvl

For F2P I don't think you should build any to S+, at least not in the beginning. For that same amount of resources you could get a second Hypo/Celestial to M+. It depends on what you want for your account though, heroes like Scarlita or Dionel want S+ to be super effective. If you think it's worth skipping a full M+ hypo/celestial to get one of those two from M+ to S+ then that's up to you and your account.

If Scarlita then S+ and ex20 is must (very stat hungry unit). Pharesto mostly DR so if ur not behind having him at ex10 m+ its fine to just hoard resources and wait. We never know if they dont give us Lily May type of carry in celhypo faction.

Guess Zeebo raised the affinity of a strawberry to 8000😂 On the topic though, I used to be a midspender, now more of a low spender and I got Reinier M+, Scarlita S(not gonna go S+ atm) and enough saved for 2 more copies of any(can get 4 copies in 2 weeks). I'm waiting rn, but I will most likely go for Phraesto.

There is 0 reason to not get Scarlita to S+. Thats literally when she is at her best. So get her to S+ before looking elswhere

@@Rugglers there is, because it takes 4 copies and the biggest difference only affects PvP and without her season skill she will probably not see much use in the new seasons PvE. I already rank top 20 and Arena coins lost almost all use for me, since I have all arena buyable units basically done. Those 4 copies will get Phraesto to L+, finishing Scarlita first will set me back 2 months for Phraesto and he is more beneficial to my account now.

Well I've built Reinier, Scarlita and Talene so Phraesto is the next logical choice. I just can't see myself going for Dionel and Dunlingr, stellar crystals are too valuable to use on a hero that's only good in pvp even if the two of them end up being the top of the meta.

Don’t forget you get higher purple dust the higher your afk stages are. Higher resonance = higher dmg overall so he’s still valuable

Don't listen to him. If you get reiner and phreasto. Dream realm is the most important in this game. you get rewards daily and Phreasto was on most of the meta DR team at end game.

im so beyond f***ing salty that Phraesto ended up getting defensive charms and will fall down massively in the new DR bosses only to be used for AFK pushing. i invested in him MAINLY for dream realm, and you’re telling me talene of all units will be the new DR unit for this shit season? him being the best in AFK pushing was definitely a good thing, but if thats all he is going to be now then gg there goes months of saving and debating on which unit to go for, only to go down the drain as a low-spender. 👏🏻👏🏻 only got to enjoy this dude for 3 weeks getting top 20 on my district on almost all bosses. now we’re going back top 100 if not worse thanks to these changes to him. 🤣 what an absolute joke.

That's kind of on you for investing in him right before the end of the season, and the start of a new season though. Any sane person would have told you to save for the new season, ESPECIALLY when it comes to Celestials/Hypogeans since the resources to get them are so rare. Sucks off course if he's not going to be meta at all in Dream Realm next season, but that's just a new lesson learned when it comes to spending resources on Celestial/Hypogeans.

@@Rhyff it is what it is, nothing I can do about it now except decide between maxing him out to S+ EX+15 to make him unkillable, or stopping at M+ EX+10, and instead start building Talene or save for next cel/hypo. I'll just hope he sees SOME use outside of just being an AFK pushing bot.
