The glancing side effect that prevents sunspot's flare state also happens if you buffer special from a combo. I first learned this when I tried wong vs maestro way back. I threw my sp3 out of a combo and when I came out I had no spells, his glance cancelled it. My presumption is that glance doesn't actually apply aar to the specific attack, but rather sets a window in which the opponent has -100% ability accuracy, thus if you use an ability in that window it will not work. Many already know and play around it but it sure is annoying when it's clearly not intended.

Longshot actually has increased ability for masteries too. And nodes if he's placed on defence. The reason he takes critical fail is because he has a chance to gain karma when blocking a hit. And that can fail.

This furies do nothing their potency is so low. The case is that when you dex you get fury and on 7 furies your opponent become passively unblockable.
