I actually don't think Orvar is a strict upgrade for your Mistform deck; the primary ability of Orvar is 100% useless in your deck if you don't have anything to target your own creatures, and the mere existence of Orvar as your commander would paint a HUGE target on you before the game even starts.

I made a celestial toymaker deck and my friends had the same reaction that you did regarding it. I think he is really fun, but he slows down the game A LOT and I think because of that it draws a lot of hate.

I have toymaker and it's one of my favourite decks. I do agree with the statement at the end about how it can be very frustrating. I've had people say it's frustrating but different and interesting.

Awesome game! Loved all the things Mistform did, it was always surprising me with the cards it was playing. It's a pity Neheb was not allowed to do anything, but as you said, neheb's anything might as well be a game ending combo, you never know :P I've been wanting to make a Toymaker deck, but I worry that my playgroup might get tired or frustrated with the constant guessing and asking to do stuff, specially when those actions are not that impactful or relevant. How was the experience, from an opponent perspective?

Great game! The Neheb showing is definitely something I feel people should consider when they choose commanders, if the deck won't work without the commander and the commander is so explosive that it can't be allowed to do anything then you won't do anything all game. That being said mistform had a great showing! I noticed the moxfield list is a year outdated, any chance of updating it? Id love to see the newer picks like pip boy
