molten duplication also causes the copies to sacrifice at end of turn, so even post combat you would have won with rakdos triggers. good game!

Part of why i really like watching your channel, you explain any mess ups and while the exiling three cards does sour the game as it could make all the difference for winning it was only once, you explained how it was supposed to work, and it definitely would had been a sour taste if Cam did win but if he had would had made it that much less sour. I think this is the first time I've ever seen Mind Slicer in a cEDH game (probably not but I can't remember another video that I've watched where it showed up) and it was an obscene way for Dylan to minimize the other players' chances of winning or stopping him on his next turn.

That Rakdos jawn went crazy. Your channel is the only one I can watch that has more of an open dialogue during game play vs straight narration which is what I typically rock. You guys do it right. Yes you did do that Ragavan trigger correctly. The beginning of the end step already happened. The trigger is delayed till your next end step. That ruling fucks me over all the time haha.

Happy to see Rakdos claim the win. I actually run the exact same win strategies that the list has in the Laughing Jasper Flint deck I put together, except I also have Pitiless Plunderer and Altar of Dementia as alternate combo pieces with Forsaken Miner since Jasper likes having Plunderer as an extra outlaw.

We have a LGS here in Munich Germany where we can play EDH on a regular basis but paper cEDH tournaments are not rly a thing here. At 4:50, Loot says "where X is the number of card types among other nonland permanents you control" so shouldn't it be one? Also, with Rakdos on the battlefield, you can win with dual caster + molten duplication postcombat. The tokens will sacrifice themselves and Rakdos will functionally mill your opponents out.

Dylan, I'm wondering why you sacrificed Mind Slicer in upkeep instead of draw step, post-draw. I would assume getting rid of the one extra card would be the default play, but were you worried that Christian had the win in hand already after the Gamble the prior turn, and one extra card would give extra protection?

I still think the way to play stella is run a 1 mana haste enabler then cast one of the combo pieces. You need 5 mana total and you win that turn.

Can someone explain how stella wins with Cerulean wisps alone? I understand the infinite draw what I dont understand is how it wins by decking without another card to play. Thassa's oracle would need to be cast no? Like if all he has is 1 blue and stella activation and wisps that just decks him and he loses? Or si there something im missing?

You don't have to keep copying. You don't have to deck yourself. Just draw as much of your deck as you like and stop whenever. If the list can't win with deck in hand...well...not a good deck lol

isnt Rakdos's effect ends at cleanup step? and Ragavan triggers at begining of end step.So you cant play cards that exiled by Rakdos next turn right?

Rakdos's effect ends at the beginning of the end step, but it says "until your NEXT end step" meaning he's absolutely correct, if you sacrifice a creature on your own end step, those cards are accessible for a full turn cycle until you end your next turn. This is actually the same for all effects that happen at the beginning of end step, his confusion is just because the latest updated wording removed the words "at the beginning" so he thought it might be during cleanup, which would mean, like you assumed, that it doesn't work.

Maybe I'm missing something, but in addition to saying "other", Loot looks at card types among NONLAND permanents you control. I think that means he should've only been exiling 1 off the top, because it seems like "land" was being counted incorrectly. Edit: as per the first and thus far only comment, he had a utopia sprawl. I could not see it on my little phone screen.
