Great questions: 1. Yes you will be able to buy the barrel separately and I am hoping to also offer shorter versions but I am still working through that with Celik. 2. The PB223 was always going to capture some customers of the Eureka or vice versa depending on which one is released first. We are just super thankful that we can offer both rifles and both at a similar point in time, so customers can make an informed decision and choose the right one for them. 3. In short, I would take the Eureka into war but not the Chimera, that statement basically addresses everything. Both do have a different price point, design, capability, accuracy etc. so I think they will attract only some customers that overlap and that will have a hard time deciding which one to buy. I assume most customers will know very quickly which one they want.

Eureka's forend is flat, perfect for barricade and tripod shooting That's it out of the top of my head, but you gave me an idea for another comparison video, maybe @Fhuck Outdoors wants to do one :) In terms of the rifled barrel, I will investigate it. @@vintagetintrader1062 Yes of course, but because these are gas operated guns, you have to potentially move the gas holes closer to the action, which requires multiple parts to be redesigned and manufactured. So depending on how you solve that issue, it might be worthwhile or not. Time will tell.

Adjustable gasblock could potentially solve that issue but redesigning and inventing stuff may not be a cost effective enough to justify extra efford. @@strider5119 I hear you loud and clear. 1. step, let me get them in, then we start improving on what we have and overtime it will be pretty awesome. But then also, if you want tactical, just get the Eureka Stockade, it already has everything you want.

When will the gen 2 buck master get here
@AustralianSportingAgencies8 ай бұрын
Really depends on the QLD police, they are sitting on our import license. The gen 2 are being manufactured next week, so we could have them within 4 weeks but I think 6 weeks is more realistic. Again, if the police keep playing games, then I can't tell.

Can I buy the extension kit for my Buckmaster gen1?
@AustralianSportingAgencies8 ай бұрын
Yes you can buy the extension, however we will need to also replace the rest of your magazine tube. We will offer that as a kit in the near future (1-2 months) so stay tuned please.

Hi There i like your Buck Master video/last February i brought my Buck Master tactical Version not not bad for a Category A firearm that shoots like a loophole semi auto and 1 hand shooting with a pistol grip/ i'm glad i live in Victoria because N.S.W gun laws sux a 10 round Pmag modified frpm a former 20 round Pmag is still illegal

Any shotgun over 5 rounds magazine capacity is a Cat D in Victoria, isn't it? That begs the question; where can you have a 10 round magazine shotty and how fast can I move there?
@AustralianSportingAgencies5 ай бұрын
Cat A shotgun can have 10 rounds in Vic. Please check with your local regulator.....don't quote me :)

Chimera love the concept, looks... meh but excited to see its release. Hopefully in TAS!
@AustralianSportingAgencies8 ай бұрын
Hi mate, I get what you mean, we have to work with the mechanism which is in essence a shotgun mechanism hence the look and I tried to make it as good as it could get with the restrictions we have. The good thing is that because of that look, we shall not have any issues in Tas. Always trade-offs :)
@adventures_with_simo8 ай бұрын
@@AustralianSportingAgencies I did not mean it as a slight, looks are subjective, my personal view only as I prefer less traditional appearance and yes I am keen as they will fit TAS appearance laws. I already own a gen1 PB12 so I'm excited for the 223 variations.

Lol, that stock is not allowed in NSW according to their website, it got denied. A wooden hunting shotgun style fixed stock, and it was denied approval.

The Buck Master PB 5 rounds more fun than 2 rounds double barrel shotgun

I purchased a v1 of the buckmaster 12g roughly 1.5 years ago in the black synthetic with a 28inch barrel and I had it detonate out in the field whilst using it. The tube had appeared to come loose over time whilst using it (I would always make sure it was tight every time I would take it out of the safe) and it also damaged the internal threads in the tube/piston. This caused gun powder and debris to fly into my eyes which led me going into hospital to get my eyes flushed out. I also had a close friend have the identical shotgun in the wood grain finish and like mentioned, it split the timber where the button release is. Both examples happened within 2nd/3rd time of either gun being used and both had less than 100 rounds put through them. I would personally stay away from these shot guns, although the concept for these guns are a great idea and the button release is in a great spot, these shotguns are just cheap and nasty. No firearm should have substantial faults like so and clearly haven't gone through the adequate testing and I simply do not trust the v2 to be much better at all. Such a shame as they have a lot of potential.

Hi mate, very sorry to hear about your experience. I need to clarify that the firearm you bought was brought in by another distributor before we took on the distribution. We have only ever sold the gen 2 and not any of the gen 1 versions. By the sounds of the gun, yours is one of the very first ones that made it into the country. All I can say is that we test our guns properly to ensure safe and reliable use. The gen 2 has a lot of improvements and has as far as we know addressed any shortcomings of previous versions. We stand behind our product. I understand, based on your experience, that you do not trust the gen 2, that's a fair feeling. I do have to stress that the gen 2 is by far our most reliable firearms that we that sell. I hope you made a full recovery and that you got your money back as well, as no one should have to go through that experience.

So what happens when the government just decides to classify these as automatic too.
@AustralianSportingAgencies8 ай бұрын
Well, there would be a buy back, or grandfathering. Now, if we were smart we would argue that grandfathering isn't sufficient as the value of the gun is basically 0 as there is no market for them afterwards, hence the government must pay us out. The trick is to make it too expensive for them to even try, hence the more guns are in circulations, the more money it will cost them so the less likely it gets. Go buy a few guns my friend!

People like you said the same thing about Adler shotguns, Verney Carron lever release guns etc. Our gun laws (background checks, training, licensing, storage requirements) in Australia clearly work because we don't have mass shootings like America. The hysteria is unnecessary and unwarranted.
