I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 just to compare materials etc. The real brooch costs $800 and is made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other is a $40 replica of the *HOTDUPS* backpack - also for comparison - I can’t find any difference and still use it at the gym

Thank you!💕 I don’t condition any of my bags. It has so many scratches (i take the train to work everyday) but they’ve smoothened out by themselves and went back to being shiny i’ve never even noticed till you asked :) seems to be the nature and quality of the calfskin leather.

I struggle with this topic. I think it is morally wrong to buy fakes from an artistic perspective, but at the same time, the high prices are equally morally questionable. Buying luxury bags is the stupidest investment. I personally don't think it's worth spending so much money on a bag. It's better to invest in gold. Of course, I also like those big-name bags. But I can't bear to give up the money. So all my bags are *HOTDUPS* knockoffs.
