😍 The smooth black leather is gorgeous. This is on my 2020 wishlist and have been researching all the leathers and sizes. Would you say the smooth box leather is durable?

June Wells Thank you dear!! The smooth leather is quite durable but I would say it’s likely bound to get some scratches over time. I plan to do a proper wear and tear update in about 6 months since this is still quite a new bag for me. Merry Christmas!! 🎄

guru EDIT Ohhh, that’s a good question! I only have one Chanel classic flap and I would choose that over the Celine box. But if you’re deciding btwn another classic flap and the Celine, I say 💯 go for the Celine box!!!! It’s a totally different look - much more understated and minimalist compared to a Chanel. 😘

I just can't imagine buying a bag with that giant metal piece sticking out (the clasp) -- I can't believe more people don't mention it. Even if the corners are rounded, it drives me nuts aesthetically to have a piece that sticks out and ruins the line of the bag, and it seems like it would cause the hardware to get scratched more easily.
