2:39 3:34 This is still the only performance I've ever heard from her where her voice does that breathy whine while letting off of a belt. I wonder if she was sick? I've heard other singers do it occasionally but never her. I like the way it sounds but it's not usually how she sings. Also it makes me so sad that she never made any stripped albums during her prime. A studio quality version of IACBTMN without the over the top production would've been amazing. Can't compare and contrast the two. Really, why would you? As they are both incredible women, incredible artists and beautiful in their own right. I can appreciate them both. Having said that, as much as it pains us all, Whitney lost her vocal ability in her later years and of course she left us way too soon.
