Even if you don't understand a word she's saying, she manages to make you feel it. Her french discography is better than her english and she has also sung in Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese and Mandarin Chinese. Plus she has an amazing opera voice. But the most special about her is how funny, kind and humble she is despite all her worldwide fame, success and money. You should definitely go and see her live, the videos don't do justice to her voice. It's actually unbelievable, but everyone who has gone to her show realizes it afterwards.

As a French, I always preferred her English-speaking career. I love her French songs very much from the beginning of her career (1981) to 1994 (after it's not my thing), and especially those written by the late Eddy Marnay. I love the two first Christmas albums she did in the early 80's (Celine Dion chante Noël and Chants et contes de Noël) and this song "Ma chambre". So of course I'm waiting to see your next reactions to her French songs. Thanks to you!!

I've taken the liberty to translate this song for y'all: when I fall asleep next to your body then, I have no doubt love still exists all my wayward years all, I'd give them all up to anchor myself to your dock The solitude that I fear that watches me from the end of my path I will expel it To love you, once and for all To love you cost what may Despite this evil that runs And puts love to death when I fall asleep next to your body then, I have no doubt love still exists Love still exists We weren't on the same side But, at the end of the day we don't care Whether we're right or wrong This world is led by fools My love, it's up to us To love each-other better Beyond the violence Beyond the senility Despite the bombs that fall At the four corners of the world when I fall asleep next to your body then, I have no doubt love still exists Love still exists (X3) To love you, once and for all To love you cost what may Despite this evil that runs And puts love to death when I fall asleep next to your body then, I have no doubt love still exists
