Just finished it, was stupid. There is actually something in the cellar but they never go in the cellar and see it. The movie try and make the cellar door and going down the cellar as some sort of metaphor for the husband cheating on his wife and at the end it’s a twist that it was his wife that actually killed the girl he was cheating with but they stay together because he would have went to jail if he told. Then at the very end they read a note where Laurence tells them they passed the test for getting away with murder and they should already know what’s in the cellar, which is obviously his dead wife and kid.

I would have no problem staying out of the cellar. We don't have them in my country so cellars and basements are always creepy and where bad things happen. The house is magnificent though and more than enough reason not to worry about it.

Just once, i'd love one of these "person in the walls" movies to take place in like a regular house. Not even a nice middleclass home that hollywood thinks everyone has, i'm talking the normal, regular, depressingly tiny house that 90% of people live in, where there literally couldn't be anyone inside them. I feel like that would be a lot spookier.

Who else thought the main actor was Antony Starr from The Boys and then went into comments expecting to see the usual references, but didn't see any... so then opened a new tab and went into IMDB and searched this movie up, only to realize it's not Antony Starr but is instead another actor by the name of Scott Speedman, who does look a bit like Antony Starr?

I was given a beautiful 5 million dollar home. If anything was in the basement. It’s not my problem and I don’t want to know about. What I would do wouldn’t make a movie. It’d most likely be a little boring,
