Shelby Lynne is an American singer and songwriter. The success of her pop rock album I Am Shelby Lynne (1999) led to her winning the Grammy Award for Best New Artist (despite being her sixth studio album). She released a Dusty Springfield tribute album called Just a Little Lovin' in 2008. Since then she has started her own independent record label, called Everso Records, and released three albums: Tears, Lies and Alibis, Merry Christmas, and Revelation Road. Lynne is also known for her distinctive contralto voice.
Allison Moorer is an American alternative country singer and the younger sister of Shelby Lynne. She signed to MCA Nashville in 1998 and made her debut on the U.S. Billboard country charts with the release of her debut single "A Soft Place to Fall", which reached No. 73. Since the release of her debut album Alabama Song, she released seven albums and 11 singles, five of which reached positions on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

I DON'T bring it up when I talk to her, and I DON'T mention it to anyone else either. The tragedy is not what defines her.

Nah....People...play this kind of Music...Everyday...Every Night....All over America...All over the World. They just don't play it much on TV or the Radio.... I live and am an Independent Producer/Engineer in Nashville for 30 years. People Write and Play Music like this...Everyday and Night...Not in the Tourist Traps, of course, but in homes and at Writer's Rounds all over town.....just not much on the TV or Radio.....
