Celldweller continues to reveal more of his upcoming 5th studio album, Satellites, with the 3rd new single, “A Matter of Time”, from Klayton’s owned/operated independent record label, FiXT. “A Matter of Time” pushes chugging, heavy guitars with fast-paced beats and synth programming, clocking in at just over 6 minutes. Klayton is one of few musicians of his age who is still so god damn active you forget this amazing human being is 50. While he clearly hasn't aged a day since his days from Circle of dust. That doc was fucking great btw. Look at Metallica's lead singer. Or any other big metal band for that matter from that time. They're all 50-60 now. Only Klay is still growing and making amazing NEW shit, consistently for us to enjoy.

I remember how I did. I stumbled across him by accident over 10 years ago. I was looking for a specific song on the soundtrack for Enter The Matrix, but I had no idea which song it was, so I just downloaded a random assortment of songs from a partial credit list on the IMDB and hoped that one of them was the right one. I didn't find the song I was looking for, but I found Switchback, which was one of the songs that stuck out to me, and Symbiont, a song that I still to this day have no idea where in the game it plays. If anyone's curious, I eventually found the song I was initially looking for. It was Atom Bomb by Fluke.

People said that for My disintegration, i kind of agreed ("machinegun drums" from COD, Celldweller singing, Scandroid synths.). But this one, to me, is purely Celldweller. Would rather say that it is the perfect blend of the Debut Album (Last Firstborn vibe), Wish upon a blackstar (Louder than words vibe specially at 5:30 ) and End of an Empire (Main part sounds similar to New Elysium). The fast singing parts are the only things that i may find reminiscent of Circle of Dust, and i freaking love it.

@@whaarp Yeah. 1:56 is pure DIsengage. Thinking of Waste of Time, specifically. I'm sure the similarity wasn't on purpose, just the way it came out. This one leans a toward CoD a bit more than My Disintegration, I think. Especially with the guitar at 3:16. It just sounds like old CoD to me, love it! Making me more and more excited to whatever track is going to follow up Dust to Dust. Hopefully this year!
