I wouldn't say it's better. Both songs are great. But both versions are so different from each other that I wouldn't even compare them

It's like Klayton made his own little world when he was younger and his brain was about to explode with ideas; now he's older and calmer, but he still loves that fantasy land he made. I feel like this is one of two things: either him revisiting that world when it's dusty and slower, but still retains the feeling of the original, to chuckle at his youthful dream that he doesn't need anymore but still very much loves. Or It's him saying goodbye to a place that gave him respite in spite of new horizons he'd never dream of exploring if he'd never left his own little world. But still, this world . . . it's like his legacy. That's what he truly means when he says, "I/we will never die." It's our legacies that live longer than our minds. It's never been about immortality. It's about making your mark on the world so damn well nobody will ever want to erase it. I will never die, Klayton. Not if I fulfill what I want to fulfill. And I know you won't, either, not with this legacy you've built ever since you got your first drumkit. And to all of you reading this, new fans or hardened veterans . . . I hope you make your marks as massive and indelible as you can. Because you only get one shot at it. We will never die! -I made myself cry writing this, what the hell.-

this makes me understand, why klayton's master-piece music, pulls me in more like it has been doing successfully last few years, pulling me through a lot, with my disability, and graduating highschool, His lyrics speak to me like a spirit guide, as well as lately going through a hard ass tine, with new experiences, then socially and growth. when in doubt, celldweller is there.

I'm not 100% sure how best to word this where it comes across okay, but I'll give it a shot. I only found you through listening to Dead Rising 2 music around 6 years ago, and I've only been actually listening to and following your other stuff for maybe 3, but I feel like it's been so much longer than that. This version of one of those first songs I heard from you brings that out of me. It gives me the weirdest feeling of good times and nostalgia from something that really wasn't that long ago. Nothing else has really given me that feeling. Keep doing what you do as long as you can. :)

I have this crazy hypothesis that Offworld may actually be a prequel to Wish Upon a Blackstar, which then leads into the self titled debut where possibly the narrator of Offworld even some how gets incarcerated and goes insane in a cell during the Blackstar Empire, which starts to come to a swift and violent end as "Welcome to the End" signals the End of an Empire album

Official visualizer? Is that what the kids are calling them these days? In all seriousness though, this version of Own Little World is fantastic. Makes me wish I knew about your music back when the first Celldweller album dropped. Still didn't stop me from feeling nostalgic from the first time I listened to the song, though. Amazing album, Klayton. Really looking forward to the next Scandroid album coming out soon.
