I’ve often heard that the cello has the closest range to the human voice, so I just looked it up and yes, it’s bang on. Lowest bass vocal note scored in normal circumstances is C2, and the highest Soprano note scored in normal circumstances is C6. The Cello’s range is C2 to C6. 😊😊

HI Illia!! Now I know you speak spanish Ill take advantage of it!! cada video tuyo es de suma ayuda.

Very interesting video, as always. Now, here's my question: can you see any difference as regards performance between male and female cellists? If yes, which one?

I've had that 1 hour once a week lesson to no avail I'd like to be a good cellist and this recommendation for the year of technique practice is just the direction that I plan to take Do you have suggestions for finding a teacher dedicated to the adult student who can practice 4 hours a day all for the love of cello?
@IliaLaporevcellist2 жыл бұрын
Hi Natalie! That’s wonderful that you want to take that direction! I didn’t really get your question. By 4h per day, do you mean that the teacher practices with you 4h per day, or you practice 4h a day? Because if you are looking for a teacher that practice with the student 4h a day is going to be quite difficult and very pricey if you want to do that on a weekly base. But please let me know what you mean exactly with these 4h a day. Maybe I can help you out? ;)

Great video, Master !!! Thank you for the answers !!! I have 2 basic questions : 1. How much tension to put on the bow ? Does it has to change depending on the music you are gonna play ? 2. What objective symptoms a worn out string presents ?

Thank you dear Luis! I have responded your question No. 1! Video will come out next Friday! So there you will have your answer! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
