My younger brother had cellulitis in his right leg for which he was admitted in ICU. Cellulitis and sepsis damaged his kidney, liver, lungs , heart and brain. Surgery even could not save him. He expired on 12/09/2023. He was not diabetic. So, please create more and more awareness about cellulitis. It’s not a small health issue

Partha Das, take your Dad to surgeon. Antibiotics don't work. surgeon makes a small cut in the abscess and allows the pus to drain out.if not done the infection can spread to the lymph nodes and bloodstream. septicemia which lead to Death.

Hi plis help me... I'm in a serious situation I went to the hospital to visit Dr regarding my situation. It was symptom.off cellulitis but my Doctor didn't do anything except return me home suggesting that I should wear varicose veins socks... my foot was badly swollen n I didn't have sugar problem.... but now my foot has turned Black n Very Hard .. N sometimes round on my skin kind of dermatitis .. What should I do n help me so that I could be treated.. My father was diagnosed with cellulitis. The lower limb (below the knee) was infected. The doctor made cuts to remove the puss. The cuts (debridement) were too deep that it took almost 2 months to heal. Even now one of the cut is not dried fully and liquid comes out at times. Presently under treatment with a different doctor. The skin is hard, dark and swollen accompanied with pain and itching. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
