Postecoglou walked into a situation that was totally different to the one Beale inherited. He entered Scottish Football with absolutely no experience of the game in Europe let alone in Scotland from the Southern Hemisphere walked into a side who had come to the end of their effectiveness as a side with 3/4 key players wanting away and another 6 or 7 who needed moving on. 15 players in total have left Celtic since he arrived and as many have come in. This was total rebuild built around 1 or 2 key men and a complete transformation of approach to the game. Beale walked into the majority of the team he left behind under Gerrard and a side who had just been beaten in a major European Final who were been likened to the Lisbon Lions by some halfwits in the media. There was more than enough for the tactical genius that is (according to the same halfwits in the media) Beale to build upon whereas Postecoglou is in the middle of a complete rebuild. How these sycophants skirt around this is quite interesting. The buck never stops with those making the bold claims in Scottish Football but rather gets refocused on those pointing it out. This has always been the case.

Gorden said he needs to bring in his own players and see what style of football they'll bring and see what they bring to the table. That Isn't the way Ange works he brings in the player because they play the way he wants.
