I first saw this on the BBC Alba station programme Port. Absolutely mesmerising sublime, pristine pure presentation sung by the wonderful Julie Fowlis ably and perfectly supported by the equally amazing Unthanks. And that piano playing is just out of this world. Folks this is what these wonderful artists do for Scotland and the NE England. They HONOUR their countries and regions. Absolutely perfect.

Hahaha, same here! 50% Celtic, but from Galicia, the Spanish-speaking Romanized Gaels from northwestern Spain, along with Asturias. We are the home of King Milesius of the Leabhar Gabala, whose 3 sons set sail, conquered the Tuatha de Dana and colonised Ireland. Songs are my favourite way to learn Gaeilge. If your piper sister is single, I'm interested! ;-)
