Not sure it's fair to wheel out the old "loner" tag again. Roy from day 1 treated football as a professional career. He was always more interested in doing well and winning trophies than "havin the craic with the lads" He roomed alone on away days for more much of his time at United because he was a grown man and shouldn't be sharing a room with another man at 30 + years old. I think most of us would agree with that. We probably all have worked in jobs where we werent best buddies with all our colleagues and treated it purely as a work environment.

Giles has a cheek to criticise anyone he was a talented player who could have done great things instead he became renowned for kicking the opposition as part of the dirty Leeds team under Revie. Brady hasn't a good word for anyone he believes he's the greatest thing to happen to Irish football but yet he's responsible for the absolute shambles that was Trappatoni he defended Trap from pillar to post and was getting a big wage himself from the FAI. Brady should be embarrassed to even speak about the national team. Dunphy well he's just a bitter old drinker, he's always had a chip on his shoulder because he was nothing more than a very average journeyman he's more infamous for his run ins with Jack Charlton. Dunphy is still bitter and twisted because Keane ditched him. The current Irish squad are the worst in history, & a squad of mediocre English men who were good enough to play for they're own country. Mediocre player's with fragile ego's, if they can't handle a bollocking they shouldn't be playing the game
