Nice to hear Brendan backing the players and reminding fans their role at times. Fans were undeniably hurt last week but do need sometimes to lift the players when trying to beat the low block. We’re 3/5 of the way through 18 games in 62 days. The players do need a boost at times and the odd backward pass is clearly to try and drag the opposition out. Some of the numpties around about just don’t get it. Spoiled!!! We have won more than a third of all our trophies in the last 24 years. Incredible 💚 (That’s 79 trophies in the first 112 years and 40 in the last 25 years!!!)

Thing is, it doesn't drag teams out. It's SPL. Teams just sit in their own half so all the backwards sh!te doesn't do anything so it's no wonder the supports get angry and want the ball going forward.

@@vincentpaulmcghee4918 man thats just totally incorrect. players do not stay stationary whether they are in their own half or not. the entire back line of the opposition goes from side to side and forwards.. in these left to rights to backwards they move with it... then have to recalibrate.. then do that for 50-60-70-80 mins then that same back line are in no way the same shape as they were mentally or physically as they were in the first 10 20 30 40 mins.

The centenary year was the first time I started watching Celtic as a kid, but by the time I was really hooked on Celtic was probably around 1993. The worst time of all. Never getting near winning a title. Losing the CIS Cup Final v Raith Rovers. Winning the 1995 Cup Final v Airdrie with Big Pierre scoring. The Tommy Burns years and finally Big Wim breaking their 10. Many fans should be made go back to those times to appreciate what they have now.

Brendan is bang on. I sometimes cringe at games listening to the negativity directed at the team. It’s spoilt child syndrome amongst some fans. It’s takes time to break teams down. Today was a classic example. Before we scored the opener it was moans and jeers with nearly every back pass. We need to get behind the team from the off, not just when we’re 2 or 3 ahead. Hard to disagree with the manager but no doubt some will but what he’s saying explains itself. Ps I don’t think the fans singing For KT totally belittles Taylor🤔 I reckon it’s just all the KT speculation is just whats getting the fans excited about bringing a top player back to the club 🧐🤔

Brendan - the annoyance coming from a section of the Fans - Really relates to their feelings about YOU - not GT - You were the One that Jumped Ship to Get Back into the Premiership as Quickly as you could & that to this day does not Sit Well with them nor will it during this Tenure Period before You go again!!! Greg taylor would be appreciated if the club hadn't failed in many windows to bring in competition for him, hes a fine left back for the league but hes had no competition for the majority of his time, the noise around him is often pointed at the board

dont see KT chants as a slag towards GT, fans are just excited for the return of one of ours. Give STholders a way to resell their tickets and atmosphere will pick up. Stadium looked halfempty the other day meanwhile our ST-queue is so long its closed for new applicants.
