propably not. Truth is, he is too small to be a long playing starter, just like TJ McConnell and offensively not on a elite level like Jalen Brunson is to offset. That might still come after a while, we shall see. He IS the ideal 6th man energizer tho. Thats just as important and needed as starters.

This was Joe Mazzula at his best last night. Hounding the guards into throwing uncomfortable passes as they were stolen in the passing lanes and then forcing them to shot contested jump shots with pressure under time plus duress really helped the Celtics turn great defense into great offense. Overall, if the team was more consistent and stopped playing down to competition once in a while, this team would’ve been considered one of the best teams ever assembled!!!

Something about Tatum’s defense in the first half was irking me, felt like he was being sluggish but this puts it into perspective. Great breakdown, I’ve never seen your heart rate this low.
@clarasundqvist60135 ай бұрын
He was being sluggish compared to his usual standards. We’re so used to him being an elite defender even when his shots aren’t falling so it makes it very apparent when he isn’t playing up to his standards. He picked it up in the second half on both ends of the floor though
@marmanjoteta21005 ай бұрын
His intensity and focus can be sporadic sometimes for some reason. The fact that Mazzula has him averaging 40 minutes and keeps him on the court for long stretches when they have only played lesser teams so far probably doesn't help
