This is the balanced team I always envisioned. JB emerged as the true leader that he is on and off the court. JT does what he does best on the court and sacrificed his ego for the team. Jrue and White are the dogs we let out of the cage to handle business and Al is reliable father figure we lean on when it looks bleak. KP is that energy that strikes fear in the opponent and Joe is the architect behind the scenes moving pieces with pinpoint precision. Brad sits back and watches as his dream becomes reality and we’re just here along for the ride. Let’s run it back for the haters.

As a lifelong Celtics fan...this one just felt so special. We've been able to watch the core of this team grow. Eight years ago, Al Horford came to Boston to help us win. We got to watch JB and JT get drafted and suddenly rise up to become superstars. We got to watch some of these young roleplayers like Hauser and Pritchard grow into their roles and find their footing. It's almost like you've watched this team grow up and weather the storms over the years. Every championship is special, but this felt even more so because we've gotten to watch so much of the process of these players learning and growing over the years.
