I went to the Boston Garden twice in my lifetime. Once in 1989 and once in 1995. In '95 I asked my dad, do you see a mircophone that was Johnny Most's? The guy sitting in the seat next to me said, turn around, it's up there. Thank you Celts fan for pointing it out.

I fell in love with the Celtics during the 60's and the 70's Celtics were my favorite team. I used to lie in bed in high school listening to Johnny call those Celtics' games on WBZ because you could pick up the larger, more powerful stations long-distance at night. My mom used to talk about hearing that distinctive voice from the radio in my room. Great memories. I met Johnny Most in the late 70's after I drove down to Atlanta to see the Celtics play.......... Went courtside after the game and introduced myself. He spent time with me and we talked about the Celts' chances in the playoffs that season. What a wonderful man.

I was there for that and I still have the shirt! Very special night! I remember watching the games on TV with the volume off so I could listen to Johnny on the radio.

People used to do that when Larry Munson called UGA football games

That is a fact the dynasty of the Celtics ended in 1987. However it ended for good in 1990 when Johnny Most left and retired.

Now, in 2024, they are, once again, Kings of the NBA.
