I met Bill at a Cal game. I asked him to sign my program. I could tell he was a bit annoyed but he graciously signed it anyways. I saw all his home games when he played at UCLA. The two peak years when he was at Portland and won a title were the most esthetically pleasing basketball in the history of the NBA. Great team and individual play by one of the best teams ever.

RIP Bill Walton. He was one of the smartest ball IQ players out there. The Blazers' teams of '77 and '78 were among the best and most enjoyable to watch. And a lot of that was Walton facilitating at the high post (more than half a century before the arrival of Nikola Jokic).

What holiday was in Monday at USA? I was confused yesterday when there was no new episodes of three daily USA based podcasts I usually listen but that explains it 😂😂 Oh and while listening the talk about the tv-deals, I actually feel lucky to live in Europe. Every game I want to watch is in leaguepass for me. Yes, I rarely get to watch them live because those I would like to watch tip off at 4am or something stupid but as long as I don't check social media or NBA app, I can always imagine I'm watching them live 😄 And don't tell the league but for some reason geoblocking isn't working either, so I can even watch with leaguepass the games that are shown in my country but are behind paywall 😁
