Actually the title is wrong. Ghilie is a kind of game warden but there was more to it. They also acted like the guide to a big white hunter and were there to make sure his lord had a good day hunting and fishing. They also were expected to catch poachers and when grouse hunting they;d beat the bushes so the Lord could shoot some Grouse. On a big estate it could be a good job but generally they were given a hut and a token wage so not enough for a wife or family. Also Mear means angry or enraged. A better translation would be "My Troubled Man". Based on her song her man went away to seek his fortune but she didn;t know where he was or even if he was a alive and you get the impression he;d been gone a few years and she's starting to believe she;ll never see him again. The song is a lot deeper than the title would hint at if you only knew the new title. It's a much sadder song than it appears.
