Refined Oil (എണ്ണ) - for deep frying
** For frying Cashew Nuts and Raisins **
Cashew Nuts (കശുവണ്ടി) - 2 Tablespoons
Raisins (ഉണക്കമുന്തിരി) - 2 Tablespoons
** For Prawns Biryani Masala **
Cooking Oil (എണ്ണ) - 2 Tablespoons
Ghee (നെയ്യ്) - 2 Tablespoons
Cardamom (ഏലക്ക) - 2 Nos
Cloves (ഗ്രാമ്പൂ) - 4 Nos
Cinnamon Stick (കറുവപ്പട്ട) - 1½ Inch Piece
Star Anise (തക്കോലം) - 1 No
Mace (ജാതിപത്രി) - a little
Ginger (ഇഞ്ചി) 1 Inch Piece
Garlic (വെളുത്തുള്ളി) - 6 Cloves
Green Chilli (പച്ചമുളക്) - 3 No
Tomato (തക്കാളി) - 3 Nos (300 gm)
Salt (ഉപ്പ്) - 2 Teaspoons
Turmeric Powder (മഞ്ഞള്‍പൊടി) - ¼ Teaspoon
Kashmiri Chilli Powder (കാശ്മീരി മുളകുപൊടി) - 1 Tablespoon
Garam Masala (ഗരം മസാല) - 1 Teaspoon
Crushed Black Pepper (കുരുമുളക് ചതച്ചത്) - 1 Teaspoon
Hot Water (ചൂടുവെള്ളം) - ½ Cup (125ml)
Prawns / Shrimp (ചെമ്മീൻ) - 500 gm (Cleaned)
** For cooking the rice **
Cooking Oil (എണ്ണ) - 2 Tablespoons
Ghee (നെയ്യ്) - 2 Tablespoons
Cardamom (ഏലക്ക) - 4 Nos
