Just a few tips you might find helpful for your future projects. 🤗 When painting, to keep the paint from getting on other areas you don't want painted, you buy (PAINTERS TAPE) ... or (MASKING TAPE), and use the tape to protect the other areas, then tape NEWSPAPERS over the larger areas to prevent splatter to the floor if the floor matters. When laying tiles, you have to clean EVERYTHING OUT OF THE ROOMS - FIRST!! Then make sure the floor is CLEAR OF ALL DEBRIS & DIRT. If it's a dirt floor, you pour your concrete FIRST over rebar to prevent shifting & cracking.. Then apply your tiles to the concrete. Now you have your tiles on a SOLID & EVEN SURFACE! Otherwise - over time the dirt shifts, then the tiles become uneven and begin to separate. Bugs & weeds can even begin to grow up between the separations on a dirt base. You also need (TILE CUTTERS) so that you can cut larger pieces into smaller pieces and get full floor coverage. Here's a video on the process of laying concrete over dirt.. Following these established guidelines for the workflow will ensure your work lasts another 10-15 years before you need to bother with it again! 🤗 Keep up the great work!!
