​@@sebastianhartevelt2458 Running off my Inspiron 7580 Laptop: i7-8565U CPU @ 1.99GHz, 8GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM, NVIDIA MX250 2GB Graphics Card. Resolution is 720p with shadows set to low. I could run it onslightly higher settings but that would mean running my laptop at higher temperatures, plus I'm already getting a good framerate and graphics so why bother.

@@sebastianhartevelt2458 CEMU is totally free and you can download it online. Getting games for it is a little tricky though and there some copyright legality on the whole thing. Look into USB Helper for CEMU and review some more of BSoD's videos on CEMU and really emulators in general for more info.

BSOD, I don't think I can properly thank you enough. I have been coming to your channel for some time now, on the off/on chances where I dabble into Cemu (and specifically BotW). Recently I dropped some change into finally building a decent/respectable (actual) gaming rig. And I'll admit, of all the Steam and other games I own, I was anticipating running BotW (again) on this new rig. I've played through BotW twice on my WiiU, once on my Switch, and 3 other times on Cemu via my older PC. I love this game. And I could not wait to try it on my new PC. I came to this video and (as usual) you walked me through step by step every single thing I needed, how to set it all up, and how to maximize optimization. So easy to follow, so in-depth on any little question I might raise. After setting it all up, I started playing again, JUST wanting a few minutes to see how it would look. And I cannot describe my feeling - this game is SO beautiful and SMOOTH on 18.2 with the updates and DLC. I am genuinely re-invigorated with how great this looks AND controls. Thank you, sincerely, for these videos. Thank you for taking the time to make this so user-friendly and super easy to follow. Upgraded to an I7 6700k just for Triple Core Recompile. Now rocking 102FPS in 2560x1440 huge upgrade over I5 6600k... Awesome Videos BSoD. It’s my hope Cemu Team add a setting for Shader Searching. Sure it may take a few hours to find every shader from the game and save it to folder but making it so every single game can get 100% Shader Saved would be an amazing feature! Can only hope Nintendo either sucks it up about Emulation or create a PC Platform. I do not condone piracy rip your own game backups people...

You absolutely NEED Cemuhook if you're going to use a DS4 controller for motion controls. For those motion control shrines in BotW, I was going crazy trying to figure out why my motion controls weren't matching up to my controller's movements for the longest time because I thought I didn't need to install Cemuhook

After using this setup for about a week, I realized the Cemuhook really isn't dead for 2 reasons. 1, the motion controls through it are still a lot better. 2, the custom timer is gone. I would still reccomend using cemuhook to anyone wondering.

Warms my heart knowing starting from scratch is increasingly simple and nobody will have to stumble through these frustrating setups like I did years ago. Side note for gamers with a 8Bitdo controller, imo it's best to use START+Y and connect as Switch ProCon and use BetterJoyForCemu for full support.Just don't use Xbox mode, it lacks features.

To all the people updating from a older version of Cemu you NEED to change QPC TIMER 1X SPEED back to Default or you will have a VERY VERY bad time. I just updated and couldn't figure out why I was getting 2-3fps and HUGE freezes. DK:TF took nearly 3 minutes to load and then began to freeze for insane periods of time. I changed every setting 1 at a time and found the reverting the old fashioned QPC 1x setting we have all been using back to default and now it works.

I have recently been introduced to CEMU my first installed version was 1.15.10 and playing BOTW, following all your instructions, I get between 30 and 60 fps on average depending on location or situation. I have followed your instructions to every single item and upgraded to CEMU 1.18.0. and made all adjustments as you presented. I can't get passed 15 FPS. Either using your instructions for current or previous versions. I am unsure of the reason. My pc has i5 @3.3ghz, 12GB of RAM and a 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. As I said I am playing BOTW without issues with CEMU 1.15.10, thanks for any assistance possible.

@@KIRI77 You can look for precompiled shader packs online, and then put them in your shader cache file. If you already played the game for a while, you will need to replace that file with your new one. The only problem with this is that, when you first boot up the game, it will take some time to install the precompiled shaders in the game. Also, if you have and AMD GPU, you can go at Options>General settings>Graphics, where you'll find the option of Precompiled Shaders and you can enable it (Only if you have an AMD GPU) I hope I helped you in some regard with your issue.

I wanted to share that I'm using an NVIDIA GPU and in Xenoblade Chronicles X Vulkan gives me around 30-40% more performance than OpenGL. With Vulkan I can mantain 60FPS where as with OpenGL I would to drop under 42FPS in some areas, not only that, but GPU usage in Vulkan is lower and shader cache generation faster (although I think that is with most games). So I think its worth giving Vulkan a try if you're struggling with a game even if you have a NVIDIA card.

Just a note of caution, if you set to run as Administrator, you won't be able to run games (your roms) from a network attached storage or mapped drives connected to different PC without a nightmare of changing permissions in WIndows. Works fine without using the Run as Administrator for me. Just sharing my experience of dealing with it due to the Win10 updates in past few months.

Shader cash can be downloaded and processed before starting the game. It will remove freezing when there is a new animation on the screen.

Aryaputra got it a while ago so I don’t remember the exact file. Look up on your browser “BotW with update and dlc” if there’s no tutorial for the right torrent the one I found a year or so ago on piratebay had a folder with the base game, an update folder, dlc folder and an easy to follow read me notepad guide

I hope the people in charge of the botw graphics pack add some new forms of anti aliassing soon. I have a 1440p display and it still looks very jagged. I think MSAA and TSAA would be a good addition since MSAA is for high end users and TSAA is just FXAA but better with slightly more performance cost.

I would like to add some info for ryzen users. For me, I saw better performance with smaller thread quantum. With big quantum, i experienced some small stuttering from time to time and crackling with audio. I set it to the minimum and the problem disapeared. Maybe its just placebo, but I wanted to share anyway in case you are experiencing similar issues as a ryzen user. I tested it with the previous builds. I still need to check this new build.

Thanks BSOD! One thing: Your single/dual/triple-core recompiler chart is out of date. *4 core 4 thread CPUs have significantly better performance with triple-core recompiler (not dual)* for at least the last couple of cemu versions.
