Thank you for sharing. I like all your videos, you are very precise with your measurements. Most people when they say 1 cup they scoop up a heaping cup so it’s hard to determine if it’s actually one cup, but you when you say 1 cup, you level it out to 1 cup which is good.

I am from Indonesia, we add suji leaves or dracaena angustifolia for color. Pandan leaves for flavour and suji leaves for color.

Hi sister Paula, the table stand making my Khao Lod Song was built by kuv ib tug vauv. He built one for his wife and I asked him to make one for me as well. It's very sturdy and I don't have to worry about having a second person holding the press. With this stand, I can make the Khao Lod Song all by myself. I live in MN. What state you live in? I must be doing something wrong because my cendols comes out kinda bitter. How much of the pandan leaves so you put in?

Hello dear, if your cendol comes out bitter, it must be your pandan leaves. Keep in mind that all pandan leaves are not perfect and there are some pandan leaves that is bitter. I've experienced that in the past too. That is why I usually buy the same brand of pandan leaves from the same store if possible.

U don’t have to use the pandan leaves just use water and add pandan paste. Or just buy the pandan that’s in the can.

Those are flour to make Viet steamed cakes. There are different brands. You can use either brand is fine.

How do you store leftovers cendol? Do I drain water and put in container and in the refrigerate or do I put cendol in a container of water and into the refrigerator?

Hello, you keep some water with the cendol in a covered contained to store in the refrigerator.

Hi, I put the sugar in a pot with low heat to carmelize until it starts to change color, then I add water and let boil until all sugar has been melted. I let it cool and refrigerate the sugar and use when I need to.

Hi Sunshine, the stainless steel press can be bought at Asian stores. I got mine from Hmong Village in St Paul.

Hi Orchid, thanks for watching. Yes, I have those recipes coming up in the future. I just sold my house and now live at a temporary house which I'm not able to cook as much. Be patient with me until I move to my permanent home and lots of my delicious foods will get videotape.
