Just found this playlist and oh boy this is a lifesaver! Is there a workbook available anywhere? My next task is looking for a workbook to follow along the book and these newly discovered lectures.

your AMDR slide is scrambled. What you are saying does not match what the slide projects. The percentage values. I'm a little late to your videos sorry. By no means am I complaining, I would want to know if it was my video. Thanks for the post Dr. O

@Dr. Frank O'Neill GrowGrayMatter I am from West TN too. I went to nursing school and gained 20lbs. 2yrs later I got a promotion and moved to Memphis in 2019 and gained 12 more pounds. In 2020 post covid I gained 60lbs plus the 37lbs I already needed to lose. The pandemic did not slow down the food in Memphis lol. I think the isolation made it worse. I moved back to Jackson, TN last year for my health. I need to lose 100lbs! For the first time in my life.

@@AnnaMDurrance My wife actually went to nursing school when she was down there as well. She is a now a Nurse Practitioner. She talks a lot about the food and the very sweet tea :) I am sorry to hear about how COVID impacted your weight. The average American (that gained weight) gained 29 pounds during the 1st year of the lockdown. You are not alone :( COVID saved my life in a way. Getting sick with COVID was what finally motivated me to get healthy. Here is my story if you need inspiration. I know that you can do it because I have done it kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4vJZ36kmtl6aq8 I will support you in any way that I can. Please reach out if you have questions. I want to see you succeed, and I can't wait to hear your success story :)

@Dr. Frank O'Neill GrowGrayMatter I have been watching your videos this week to help get motivated again. I have a rare genetic medical condition that causes hormonal imbalances and I gained 60lbs in less than 90s post covid. I have the imbalance in check but my weight will not move. It has caused me to have a high A1C. Within a decimal of being diabetic. We lost my dad in 2021 due to kidney failure related to his diabetes. Thank you for the support offer! It has been a long 3yrs. I avoid the sweet tea lol it is insanely sweet.

@@AnnaMDurrance Thank you for trusting me enough to share. Hormone issues can definitely make weight loss an uphill battle. No matter what strategy you try, I recommend a couple of extra things when hormone issues are part of the problem: 1. Really focus on getting good sleep. Sleep is the best hormone replacement therapy in the world. 2. Increase your general physical activity. Focus more on moving throughout the day than beating yourself up in the gym. Maybe aim for 10,000 steps per day or find some other movement that you really enjoy. There is nothing wrong with exercise, but it is important to ease into things when your hormones aren't playing nice. I hope this helps. I can't wait to hear how you do :)
