Hello my friend👍 That was awesome!, Must be such a buzz to break new ground. Haven't watched your last few videos as I've been spending time with a friend who's sick, will have a marathon catch up when time permits. Hope you are well, thanks once again for sharing 🤿👍😁

HELLOOO my friend! I hope you are doing very well and I hope your friend gets better. That can be very tough and I with them the best. Breaking new ground for the first time was a very interesting experience for me. At first I didn't really think much about it and I wasn't even going to bring my cookie... but then... when I got there, I don't know... something just happened and it felt totally different. In a way, I'm kind of obsessed with exploring now. I even made special dive cookies lol. Now because I don't get a ton of views or comments I'll share with you a secret I haven't told anyone really lol.... In 2023, you're going to see a new me... in December my drysuit should be ready, and in January I start training on CCR! By May, I should have my own CCR, and I'm planning on doing these videos but also detailing out the process of moving from open circuit to close circuit.... why? Exploration 🤣 The new areas where I'm at require me to be able to spend more time under water and I know of a lot of new areas around the 60m mark. Take care, and as always, love when you comment. Aren't you heading do Playa this month?

@@meridacavediver hey friend👍 So excited for you ( and me haha) and your journey into c.c.r did you decide on a kiss sidewinder? Will be great to see the transition. Will you be filming some of the training? , That would be really interesting. Yes, I am in coming to Mexico in 5 weeks and counting😁. Thank you for your good wishes for my friend, unfortunately what he has is terminal, so trying to spend as much time with him and his family before I leave, it's tough as we've been best friends for 40 years, life can be tough sometimes, we can't waste time or opportunity. Thanks again, wishing you well with everything 🤿👍

@@vincentsubmarinismo774 yes... unfortunately sir, you and I are both at that age huh? It's weird for me, my mind still thinks I'm 20 :) So I am very excited about my new project and I have chosen the KISS sidewinder as expected because of the restrictions down here. I like the back units but I'm in some pretty tight spaces. Further, in some of my videos, you can see my dive partner with one, so I figured same gear... good decision. I also have to say that in speaking with KISS and Protec training, they were top notch in helping me with research, answering questions, etc. But YES!!! My project for 2023 is to document how someone like me goes from OC to CCR, and that will include my questions, thoughts, fears, training, the whole thing! If you have thoughts and ideas please share them because the goal of my project is to help people with the decision and show them everything. I went back and forth on it for about 6 months.

@@meridacavediver are you going to do the c.c.r training in the u.s.a or in Mexico? How long does it take? I hear what you're saying, depending on the day, aches and pains e.t.c , I can feel in my twenties or sixties 🤣
