Cenote Ikil de Chichén Itzá

Many tours stop at the Cenote Ikil de Chichén Itzá before arriving at Chichen Itza. It is spectacular, breathtaking and just another place in the Yucatan where I would like to spend more time. The next time we will swim in there and have our underwater camera with us to see what lies beneath the surface.

En este cenote de ikil me lanzé desde una ecalera que hay en el lado derecho, imposible ver el fondo, me lanzé 2 vecs, nadé y me divertí un mundo, Kiansy,Angel,Alix,Max y Rosa se quedaron arriba viendo como me lanzaba al cenote,,,buena experiencia, lo volvería a hacer, espero tener la oportunidad de volver y tirarme desde mas arriba...Gracias a la vida que me permitió hacer este viaje

@rayshombavision when you are leaving the ruins take 180 (not 180D, the toll road) towards cancun. there are signs for the ik-kil cenote along the road and the entrance to the park is on the right. if you hit valladolid, you have gone too far east. it is something like 50 pesos for a ticket and i think the park closes at 5pm. if you are traveling back to cancun, be sure to take the 180D toll road and not 180 public, it will save you 3 hours and is worth the 250 pesos per car. i hope this helps.

What tour did you take to go visit here? We have been there twice by way of Carnival cruise ships and the tours consisted of a long bus ride and very limited time at the ruins and the cenote at the ruins are not accessible. Did you come in from a different city then Merida like Cancun maybe? I will need to research tours that include this stop for next time.

Es impresionante, simplemente quisiera uno mas tiempo para disfrutar, si vas a ir, de preferencia renta un carro, por que cuando pagas por el recorrido, te traen a las carreras, si vas a chichen itza, trata de verlo por tu cuenta, aunque los guias son muy amables, te reduce el tiempo de apreciar esta belleza. tambien cercas de playa del carmen, tienen varios cenotes, que puedes visitar, solo pagas el colectivo (el colectivo te lleva a muchos lugares por un bajo costo) y a gozar estas bellezas

We did the Chichen Itza tour on July 3, 2015 and we didn't see anything like this. Only the sinkhole that they used for sacrifices of the young people, now all roped off for No access.

We also did another tour in Coba where they took us to an underground cave and allowed us to swim there. Was Amazing! Cold, Very deep and Crystal Clear! Beautiful! Highly recommend Amigo Tours in Cancun!

Yo estuve ahí hace 3 semanas, y había mucho mas gente que en este video y se tiraban mucho. El agua está templada, yo duré como 1 hora ahí adentro y nunca me dió frio. Pásate a mi canal a que veas mi video de Chicehn Itza. :)

osckar oskar el motivo por él cual casi nadie se mete es porque es un cenote profundo de aproximadamente 33 metros, solo los que realmente saben nadar pueden entrar, entonces algunas personas solamente van a hechar un vistazo por él peligro de que algo les pueda pasar o talves no confían en sus habilidades en él nado.
