Hiya 🤗 wow what an amazing day you had. I was just thinking that place was like heaven and Jim said something similar ☺️ I can see that it was 100% worth the cost and more - memories to last a lifetime for sure. 🥰 xxx

Thank you so much for this, you nearly caught me out putting it on a day earlier than usual 😉 We arrive in 3 weeks and it will be my third time to mexico but this excursion has never appealed to me before. My son is the same age as Jimmy and I thought he may be bored on a trip like this but after watching yet another fantastic vlog by you guys and seeing how much you all enjoyed it I am sold and this will definitely be on our itinerary. Thanks again for making all the fantastic content that you do, it is so appreciated. Looking forward to next weeks x

Thanks so much, that's really lovely. It was a long day but we thoroughly enjoyed it and the history is fascinating (Jimmy has always enjoyed history at School). The Ik Kil cenote absolutely blew us away too. The camera doesn't even do it justice. I hope you all enjoy it if you do decide to book a tour there ❤️

I was just smiling the whole time I was watching the video. One of my bucket list before was to visit the pyramids in Egypt then next in Xichen Itza after watching the movie Apocalypto way back 10-15 yrs.. so long I have been waiting to travel and hopefully I will be 🙏🙏 I got even excited about the birthdate calenday stuff and I wanna try that, and the cenote Oh my it was soo pretty. Thank you very much for the video very well explained. You guys inspire me more to save money for the upcoming travel coz Im thinking now what to buy and spend when I will reach Cancun😁😁

Thanks very much. It is definitely a must visit. Chichen Itza and its history is absolutely fascinating. We were very lucky to have such an excellent tour guide too. We had some people hovering around our group (not on our tour) to listen in to what he saying 😂

This is my favorite part of your trip so far! After you mentioned you'd be visiting, it was my most anticipated video to watch, and wow, this location did NOT disappoint!! (This location was almost mentioned on a show called Ancient Aliens.) The circular water hole was so beautiful and kind of funny with the little fish swimming alongside you. LOL Thanks so much for sharing your trip with us. I can't tell you how much we enjoyed it. Have a wonderful weekend! Barbara

Wowzers! So much history and beauty in this vlog. And then there is Mexico 😜 Ik Kil looked so special with vines and the colour of the water. Was it salty or fresh water I wonder? 🖤

Thank you. Unfortunately not - we were booked for last New Years Eve but that got cancelled and I think that ship has sailed now. I can't see us doing any Disney trips in the near future if I'm being honest.

Love the video guys, we're heading to Mexico in September and just wondering how you found the organisation of the tour? We're staying at a resort that has a partnership with the same tour company as Planet Hollywood so just wondering how easy it was finding the coach, pick up times etc? thanks! x
@TD3Vlogs Жыл бұрын
Hi Lucy. It was absolutely fine. We got picked up from our hotel in a minibus and picked up a couple of other passengers from neighbouring hotels and then transferred on to a large coach. This was separated in to Spanish/ English speakers so the tour guides could explain everything. The guides were brilliant and getting back was the same. Coach on to a mini bus (that was sat waiting) and back to the hotel. We loved it. Have a brilliant time 😎

That’s a great value tour. Plus they did a lot to help local Mexicans without ripping tourists off too much. There’s some amazing cenotes along that area all incredible

Would love to visit more cenotes. Will never forget seeing Ik Kil for the first time 😍

There is a place much more ancient than that but its in the middle of nowhere in the middle of mexico. and a very active dig site. what do know about it is that its huge like the size of new york huge. plus it predates the maya and Inca by several thousand years yet the buildings were there already just the Maya and Inca built on top of them. The old Kings who were called snake kings were supposedly buried somewhere there but we still don't exactly know where. Josh Gates found a lost pyramid last year and it was a later known to be a ritual site as we found traces of blood and tools used as sacrifice tools along with skeletons of the victims.

Hi Hollie. It is a very long day. Our Son is 11 and really in to history so I think it depends on the child. I understand your concerns with their ages though- particularly the 5 yo

At the risk of sounding stupid, but what kind of water is in the Cenote? Presumably it's freshwater, not sea water, but just wanted to ask :D
