Those were a bargain Scott! Went through the same deal on my wife's Toyota, a couple of her trim rings "walked off" Bought the inexpensive replacements for about 1/5th the price of Toy's......they still look great!!!! Love your channel!!!! Any luck on selling your Cirrus?

To my surprise, these have stayed on for almost 10k miles without coming off. I thought for sure they would pop off more often.

@@Stonyboot Yes, I only got the front caps however. I have the crossfire tire equalizers on the rear so no caps there.

Thanks for the tip Scott! I bet a ''Blob'' of E-6000 goop at one or two of the lug contact points would be good insurance that they stay on...and the E 6000 will release...just don't use too much! You guys take care!

My 2017 caps cracked around the lug holders....they were not made like the ones you have...Mine appeared to be cheaper on the inside like the replacement you showed. I bought the cheap ones of Amazon years ago and no issues since.

Would putting some type of thin material inside the lug nut hole maybe make them fit tighter. Maybe like a sleeve.

That’s a good idea. I was thinking about some kind of zip tie or hose clam to give some additional squeezing force to keep them tight.

Looks good and even better for the price. I agree with @nbookie about getting some vinyl badges for the new caps and @J Monserrat about polishing the rims. I wonder if once the rims are polished you could spray them with clear plastidip and that would protect them from the brake dust (I love the look of the polished aluminum rims but the brake dust is a nightmare on them).

I went through something similar when I had to replace my windshield....oem 3-4x the price. I went with the happy medium.

Those are the Laramie Longhorn caps. I had a sticker shop make some "Laramie" stickers for the center. Caps and stickers are 2 years old and about 60k miles. No issues. I got my 4 caps from ebay for $60 shipped.

Good idea! I had high hopes of getting factory originals for cheap on eBay, but after a couple of months I never found anything. So I went with plan B on Amazon

Hey guys, I have an off topic question. Are you setup to tow a 5th wheel RV?

Not yet, but it’s as simple as buying a hitch for the truck. Since our flat bed has a goose next ball, I might convert the camper to a GooseBox or, I might get the Andersen flatbed 5th wheel hitch. I’m also considering a traditional fifth wheel hitch for various reasons. For now, I’ll just ponder the options and make a decision when it becomes more pressing. I saw your other comment, do you have any particular questions in regards to these topics?

Unfortunately, the original Ram center caps get stolen… and also the ram tail lights with the sensors…due to their high cost. Truck and both campers look great! I need to bring the boys to the dinosaur park.

There is no way... No flippin way I would pay those prices for the OEM caps! Too bad Ram doesn't design HD truck rims that don't require pop on/off caps.
