Tips with the rick... all I do is your buddies basic cure with some borax and Creek Water and I catch more fish and I can give away...lol. maybe you guys should take a video Rick on one side and the consummate Sportsman on the other with two different cures and see who hooks up the most😁

Do you have a idea which covers your rig? I tried checking your page, but didn't see any how to videos for float fishing.
@ConsummateSportsman7 жыл бұрын
I don't quite follow... You're looking for a rigging video for float fishing?
@submissionoutdoors5707 жыл бұрын
The Consummate Sportsman sorry about the typo. Yes, I'm looking for a rigging video for centerpinning in deep fast water. I fish a saltwater inlet that averages 10 ft. The tides can be very swift. I used to centerpin in Ohio, but always fished deep pools with slower flows.
@ConsummateSportsman7 жыл бұрын
I personally have never fished deep/fast flows, but I imagine the setup would be similar? Perhaps stack the shot together instead of spreading it out?
@mattsandlin12297 жыл бұрын

@billyc25727 жыл бұрын
does it look like they are fly fishing? you don't see the float and split shot? you didn't see the Rick's tips about roe? since when are fly rod that long and fly reels that big. smh
@hillsteade5 жыл бұрын
@@billyc2572 no need to be rude, the reels are very similar in appearance and I have seen fly rods up to 12ft.

These are lake run rainbows, not real steelhead.
@ConsummateSportsman8 жыл бұрын
+Colton Reed They're the same fish as their pacific cousins. Same size range, coloration, and temperament. Migratory rainbows are steelhead. Some run into the pacific, some run into the inland oceans of the great lakes. To call these "lake run rainbows" is just as accurate as calling them steelhead. They're both. Implying the pacific fish are much different than the great lakes fish is disingenuous at best.
