Drag and drop - Open windows explorer as administrator and drag from there: open Windows directory Locate explorer.exe Right click, run as administrator using guest additions. Note: You might need to shutdown and start again the guest os, at least for me the guest bugs badly when I try to drag a file from a non UAC explorer window.

USB - Make sure that the Extension Pack is installed on the host. The same version as VirtualBox. Make sure that at least USB 2.0 is enabled in your VM settings. Unplug the device. Start your guest (the one that you applied the filter to). Let it start completely. ... Plug your device.
