We were really happy to arrive in Yulara and check in to Sails In The Desert which is the most expensive of all the Ayers Rock Resort Hotels. After we settled in we went for a walk to The Town Square for a look. It was very close to our resort hotel and had an IGA which lots of people were buying from as the resort restaurants are very expensive. We just got a packet of icey-poles, as we travel with a fridge and freezer of food since we drove. We did go back a day later for the loaded fries at the Gecko Cafe which were yummy!

Be safe to watch the summer spectacular lightning storms in Uluru Ayers Rock and please be careful where we’re you at to watch it in the summer sky in Uluru-Kata Tjuta and do not go enter the pool during a lightning storm because water conducts electricity when the lightning strikes especially the tall trees and be safe where you are to watch it in the late spring and the summer months in Yulara be the Ayers Rock Resort.
