Every summer gets the spectacular lightning storms in the Australia’s Red Centre and it is fun to watch during the wettest months of November to February and beware of the flash floods especially along the Todd River in Alice Springs so people got swept away from the storms. I spent the last half of the year 1986 in this city, completing my year 11 in the Alice Springs High School. I lived with the Gillfedders in 25th Memorial Avenue, just two to three minutes walk from the school. I was participating in the unique annual festival of the city, the Heanly on Todd, of the year 1986, and it was a big fun for me. The city was nice and, having not visited it since then, I would love to visit it someday if I get chance to. 😊
