I’m Iberian and I can confirm that over there people listen to central cee but don’t bother to find other uk rap. And ngl it’s a bit jarring when someone who’s literally only heard a few central cee songs and maybe some russ ones says central is the best as a statement when they barely understand the lyrics, flow is subjective but in terms of bars, lyrics and effort he’s nowhere near the top at all, he’s a good rapper but not close to the best. @@siofra3819 I’m from the USA but found out about him from watching a UK drill rap compilation. His Wikipedia article states his ethnicity, but there is no citation. I looked up his name (Oakley Caesar-Su) on Ancestry and found his birth record. It only stated his mother’s maiden name (Caesar). His father’s last name is Su, which means that he has Chinese ancestry on his paternal side. He could be part Irish, but I did research on the demographics for Shepherd’s Bush and in 2011 only five percent of the residents there were Irish (IDK what the percentages were in 1998, the year CC was born). IDK who got all the information on CC’s ethnicity, a personal friend maybe?

His mother has an Irish accent as she's spoken on tv with him before. Not to mention the fact if someone is mixed in the uk changes of them having an Irish mum is high. No one mixes as much as Irish women in the uk. Half of Birmingham for example is irish Jamaican
